if i got an ipod touch can i connect it to my houses wireless (broadband) modem without paying anything?

I don’t think so and you can connect to any wireless network
All you have to do is pop in your WEP/WPA key and you’re good to go!
Edit: Whoops, I might have read your question wrong. If your modem is wireless as in WiFi, then just do the above. If it’s wireless as in 3G/EVDO, then you’ll need a wireless access point. Those are usually between $20-200 depending on how sophisticated you want it. The $20 ones are fine for this, the $200 ones are for file servers and such.
Yep, just buy a router and hook it up.
Once set up, with a security key (so that only you have authority to use it.)
– then use your key to gain access. –Routers are about 50 – 70 bucks.
no need to pay anything its just like ur laptop
