The Radio Amateurs Handbook gives just about every antenna matching network one could imagine. I once had to design a super-broadband antenna for an impulse radar. I used resistive loads for matching, and just sacrificed efficiency for bandwidth. It worked very well, albeit with a 1% efficiency.
