How can I get wireless broadband without an ISP offering that?

So, that good offer went, I still want to go wireless, so I looked all over the internet for some good ISPs with unlimited usage, free online help, £14.99 a month etc like AOL. Unfortunately, there weren’t any, but I’m not sure if I buy a wireless router I can go wireless with the current ISP I have, just connect it to the broadband line, and I’m not sure if my laptop is wireless-enabled, it hasn’t got centrino, but u can get wireless without that I think. If anyone knows then tell me any suggestions, because I just want to know if I buy a wireless router, I can get wireless, I am a computer technician, I should know all this but this is the one thing I don’t, lol
