there are choices of Digi, celcom and maxis only. Both celcom and maxis offer an attractive speed up to 3.6maga bytes. what are the difference between 384kilo bytes and 3.6 maga bytes? is it worth getting the 3.6mb?

I want no wire connection between the computer and the amp/speakers. I run on broadband/cable and I am worried that more wifi would effect the system. So I thought of a bluetooth possibility. Any help would be appreciated. many thanks. zorac

I was told that broadband routers make you invisable on the internet, but it is better to use a wired router than a wireless because hackers can pick up the signal on the wireless routers. Is this true? If it is please explain briefely how it works thanks.

I just bought a PCMCIA wireless adapter for my Pentium 3 notebook running on Windows ME.

I had install the driver and the utility program which sits on the system tray.

Pls advise me how to access (i.e do i need to make any configuration)

a) free wireless broadband which is available at the Macdonald outlet

b) subsription services

Btw what does 54mbps and IEEE802.11 b&g (on the box) means?

Any useful information or precaution i need to take note of. Thank you for your words and best wishes!
